1. Program Overview

BrightRoot is a structured after-school academic enrichment program operated by Scientia Vitae Academy. Enrollment is selective and cohort-based. By enrolling a student, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms.

2. Enrollment & Tuition

Enrollment is confirmed upon acceptance and payment of the first month's tuition. Tuition is billed monthly for the duration of the cohort. Continued participation requires timely payment. Failure to pay may result in withdrawal from the cohort.

3. AI-Assisted Instruction

BrightRoot uses AI-guided instruction alongside human teacher oversight. AI avatars deliver structured lessons, while qualified educators monitor sessions, review student progress, and intervene when needed. AI is a tool — teachers are accountable.

4. Student Conduct

Students are expected to participate respectfully and complete assigned work. BrightRoot reserves the right to remove a student from the program if conduct interferes with the learning environment. Parents will be notified and given opportunity to address concerns before any removal.

5. Intellectual Property

All curriculum, lesson content, platform software, and materials are the property of Scientia Vitae Academy. Student-created work (reflections, projects, sketches) remains the student's property. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the program.

6. Limitation of Liability

BrightRoot provides educational enrichment and is not a substitute for formal schooling. We make no guarantees regarding academic outcomes. Our liability is limited to the tuition paid for the current billing period.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued enrollment after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on file.
